Under the direction of the college Organ Scholars, Corpus Christi’s choir sings a range of music spanning over 500 years from the English cathedral repertoire. The choir undertakes regular tours around the UK and abroad. Recent tours have been residencies in Norwich, Oxford and Coventry Cathedrals and trips to Sussex, Cumbria, Cambridgeshire, Dublin, Rome, Canada and Japan. In 2013 The choir will go on tour to Bordeaux, singing High Mass in the Cathedral as well as performing concerts in other venues across the city.

One Sunday service, with additional services for special occasions.

Who can join the choir?
The choir is open to members of any college, and currently includes a member from another university.

Additional Benefits
Formal choir dinners are provided free of charge three times per term, and there are numerous many parties and social events.

Choral Bursars
The choir appoints four choral bursars, who are auditioned out of existing members of the choir at the start of Michaelmas. Choral bursars receive £100.

Details of the Organ Scholarships
Organ Scholars are ordinarily appointed in two out of every three years. The scholarships are worth £350 each.
