Oxford University Chamber Music Society is a thriving centre for enjoyable and high quality student chamber music. Holding recitals every week in the Holywell Music Room, OUCMS serves as a platform for both new and existing ensembles in the university community. At the start of each year, instrumentalists can sign-up to be placed in a chamber group, specifying their preferences for instrumentation, repertoire, and commitment. Groups that would like to can then perform at the Holywell, and are supported in their future activities. With a wide range of abilities, styles, and tastes, OUCMS is a diverse and dynamic part of the Oxford music scene. It is a fun and extremely rewarding way to explore new music, meet fellow musicians, and perform to a receptive public.
